Capturing the everyday magic

Having your photo taken isn’t always the most relaxing or natural experience, but working with Anna was like a breath of fresh air. From the initial contact and helpful details of what to expect, all the way through to the photography session, we all instantly felt at ease and relaxed in her company. You can tell that Anna is used to both photographing and handling young children as she quickly got on our toddler’s wavelength and was engaging her so she was both natural and had fun whilst having her photo taken. When it came to shots of us individually and as a family, Anna was clear in her direction and had great ideas of how to execute the photography, including some lovely detail shots and compositions, resulting in a truly stunning set of images to celebrate our new family. Throughout the entire session there were lots of laughs and good chat - it felt like we had a friend take our photos! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Anna and will definitely book another session to get photos of our daughters when they’re a bit older.

We loved our shoot with Anna. She made us feel so comfortable and captured the most beautiful and natural shots of our family, especially our gorgeous and very cheeky and fast moving little boy. We were so happy when the pictures came through and couldn’t stop looking at them!

Anna is such a talented family photographer with an incredible eye for a beautiful and unique shot. She has a way of putting you immediately at ease, including my toddler which is quite a feat. Our mum and daughter photo shoot was great fun and I’ll treasure the photos always. I only wish she was doing this when I had a newborn!

It was such a big milestone for us with our son starting school in the autumn and just about to celebrate his 5th birthday. We have taken lots of pictures the past few years but have barely a handful that includes the three of us together. I am so grateful for these beautiful images - the style is so casual and playful. Our son loved the attention and enjoyed the experience immensely. Seeing the final images made me realise how much beauty there is in change - my son growing into a confident and cheery little boy, my husband and I ageing but also growing and expanding our horizons, and last but not least the magic of the changing seasons. Anna is a wonderful photographer - she somehow manages to capture beautiful moments without you even knowing she’s there. I love that nothing is staged, it just felt like my son and I were having fun in the park but the result was a collection of the most wonderfully intimate and beautiful photographs that I’ll cherish forever.
